Happy mothers day to all moms out there. Thank you for your support and wish you all the best. Thanks Mom
Though Mothers day is still on May 10, I made this article as an early gift for all of the Mothers.

Mother. She is the one who gave birth on us, the person who nurtured us, teach us and loved us the most. She’s also a woman of strength, patience, perseverance and magnanimity. Strength because she is the one who worked hard for you to live in this world. Patience because she is the only person who have the most power of being patient to you, the person who comforts when your still a baby. Perseverance because she keeps on fighting the diffulcties that came into your family. Example when your poor, she struggle to work hard for you to experience a beautiful life, she also do that for you to be able to enter a school and eventually use the knowledge you’ve learned to help your family raise from your situation. And last she also has magnanimity. Because she is willing to sacrifice anything for you such as their career. I know some mothers who has a nice job with earnings that can already support a family. When they already have a child, they give up their work instead they consentrate on raising their child properly according their will. This mothers day, lets give them a big hug and say thank you from the bottom of your heart. Happy Mothers Day!!
I have my brother who is 6 years old and he is applying for grade one. He still don’t knew how to read English and Filipino so I
am the one assigned to teach him. The first day I teach him is like a war. He didn’t obey with my orders and don’t behave well which tested my patience. He keeps on crying when I told him to study. I taught Filipino first because I think its easier. We took almost 2 weeks to finish Filipino. I taught him the ABAKADA which is the most effective way in teaching Tagalog. It made my life easier. At the first week, he reads too slow like how a grade one read which is I think better already and the next few days I trained him how to read longer sentences and read faster. After that week I began to teach English. I first have a problem how to teach English because I don’t know how to. Anyway I first teach him the English of the common words like cat, dog, house, and many more. Then I I taught him how to greet, respond in english and I hope my technique would have any effects. I hope he passed his exam.
Through my own experience, I realized that being a teacher is a serious profession because you will need patience and knowledge to teach your students. So next time in class, lets listen to our teachers coz’ thanks to them you were able to learn.
I watched a Jessica Soho special last night and it tackles about the status of kids. I was surprised about the things they discovered. The topic there that really caught my attention is the Child Labor. There is one place in Rizal where most children work. There is a kid(13) there whose family’s source of income is making charcoal and they live on mountain. The kid is too short for his age and he maybe mistaken by a 9 years old. He and his siblings are the one who bring the sack of charcoal down the mountain. And do you know that the sack that they are carrying is more than there own weght! And bringing that sack down is too dangereous because the mountain is too steep, too rocky and they will cross a river. With an interview with the kid he said “I’m just doing this because if I don’t then we will not any thing to eat and I cannot go to school” and he added “And i’m helping my parents”. There is also an interview with the kids parents and they said “We are sad that our children need to this. If there is a way for them not to help us anymore we will do that so that they won’t need to suffer but there isn’t. While I was watching that, I feel pity for them so much espicially with the kids and thats the time I realized that I were so lucky with my life; having the opportunity to enter a private school, to eat 3 times a day, and I don’t need to work at a very young age. Another topic there tackles about kids joining pageant contest. The contestants are very young yet very desperate to win the award because they want to give the prize to their parents. Some kids who belonged in the honor roll absent themselves just to practice, others compete even though they are sick and others need to express so much talent. One kid that really caught my eyes is the one who danced in a broken glasses. The judges, crew and even me is so shocked when the kid do the.
Is this the status of our children nowadays? Working at a very young age? Used by the parents to gain income? Not able to study? Its really disappointing. There is one saying said by our national hero Jose Rizal “Ang mga bata ay pagasa ng bayan” or in english children are the hope for our country. If Rizal see this one he will be dissapointed the way like I am. How could the children be the hope if they didn’t study and enjoy there life. I myself noticed this one. I can see many children asking for alms in the street and give their profit to their parents. I also know someone who work for his family and he even stop going to school just to help and his work is not enough to support his family. I really pity him.
I hope the government will give attention to this one.
Every year when summer came, Pinoys are fond of eating cold food to beat the heat. You will notice that there are many stalls selling something popular during this time. Do you have a guess what they are selling? I’ll give you a clue, it has many ingredients and has ice on it. Thats right! I’m talking about Filipinos favorite food the HALO-HA
LO. Halo-Halo is one of the traditional food you will see in every corner of Manila. It has many ingredients that made it so addicting. It has Banana (Saba) , Pinipig, Ube (UBE halaya) , Camote, Tapioca Balls, Mango, Nata De Coco, Kaong, Ice Cream, Leche Flan, Sugar, Milk, Buko and crushed ice. Regular Halo-Halo lack some ingredients like the mango, ice cream and leche flan. But some stores like Chowking have complete ingredients and also have more tricks and ingredients added to make a one special kind of it. Many provinces here in the Philippines are famous for there delicious Halo-Halo like Rizal. Commonly it costs 10-20 peso but wen you uy it in stores it will double is price.
Another all time favorite is the Ice cream or sorbetes. It is very famous among children. There are Ice Cream which are sold by cart and this is sold by a “sorbetero” and it is called as Dirty Ice Cream.
It isn’t called Dirty Ice Cream beause its dirty it is because of 2 reasons; one, it is a street food and second, the process of making it does not have any machine involve meaning it includes human interference. Dirty Ice cream’s price ranges from 5-10 peso Mamang Sorbetero is a person you can see all around the Metro like in the parks, subdivisions, churches, amusement parks and many more. Like many Ice Cream stores the Dirty Ice Cream offers many kinds flavor like mango, ube, strawberry, cheese, chocolate, melon and rocky road. His cart is composed of only 2 flavors. If you like more ice cream then there are many shops around. Two of the famous producer of ice cream are Magnolia and Selecta.
We spend our Holy week in In La Union. We traveled for almost 7
hours by our vehicle. We stayed on Nalvo Beach Resort. When we arived there, I noticed that its still under construction but ready for accomodation. Based from the scene I can say that the construction is more likely the finishing touches. We were welcomed by my aunt which is the trusted friend of the owner. The resort has beautiful scenery especially at night. In order to take some pictures and to do this one I try to go sneaking when the owner is out of my sight. Anyway lets go back to what i’m here for. So the resort offers highly maintained, well-cleaned and a very comfortable room.
I entered one room and I saw how it is well furnished and when I turned my head to the bathroom, I was amazed because it has a complete set of bathroom amenities and it was amazingly very clean and it made my jaws drop. The room has an aircondition, TV, and a huge closet. In the room I checked, I assume to you that that room is for two people only. There is also a room for 5 person located facing the beach and facing the sunset which can made a spectacular view from the room. It is wider than the room I earlier mentioned. But if your too many in the room you can stay at the huge nipa house which can accomodate 20 person maximum. Then on to my favorite part, going to the beach itself. From the nipa house it can easily be accesed but when you get on to the shore, instead of seeing sand you will see rocks so be careful on going down. After you gone down you may enjoy your swim. But there is something disapointing with it. Coz’ the terrain of the water is very uneven there is a point where it is too deep, too rocky. But don’t woory its still safe. One sturcture the owner is waiting for is the swimming pool which I expect to a beautiful one. The pool is divide by a brigde. I heard from my aunt that they are going to build a restaurant and I hope that true because the people who served us cooked pretty well. I remember what we have for lunch when we first arrive; Pancit, tahong, and many more. We have so much fun staying there. And overall our stay is a success.

Graduation day is a day where students recollect during their school life. It is also a day
where gratitude is shown to thy parents, teachers, friends and of course to the lord. Some friends of mine wouldn’t wish that their school life would end as graduation day is near. But we still cant control time. One reason of that is because they wouldn’t want to be away with their friends and clasmates. They also enjoy their company, spending quality time with them, sharing your thoughts and ideas with one another and also sharing your problems with them. Let’s thank them for the things that they have done to help us. Graduation day brings unity and camaraderie to friends. Why? Those values came because of the fact that they are not sure what will happen after that day. One might stay or one might leave. And because of those if there will be persons who will go, one thing is for sure, you showed him friendship and that made his that event more memorable. Graduation isn’t complete with our teachers, the people who has the patience in teaching us as far as their skills and knowledge can do. They stand as a friend if you need them and guide like our parents as they give their advice to you. Our teachers helped us in our assignment in Physics, explained how to solve Algebraic expression, showed our own history and culture, tought us the importance of good manners and right conduct, corrected our spelling and grammar. So thank them. And lastly the most important person in our life and is the one who is responsible of making us graduate, our parents. They are the people we should be thankful for. Because if they weren’t there you might not have been in that place. So before you graduate, Say the 2 sipmle yet meaningful and profound words “THANK YOU” and that will complete the event
Congratulation Batch 2008-2009!!!
Its been a month since I last posted a new article. Its because I’ve been busy in school for the whole month so I didn’t have too much time to maintain my blog. Thats why I am here to update my blog during my Christmas Break. Expect having articles that are fresh, interesting and especially a good one.
Nowadays, we are experiencing the increase in price of gasoline resulting to the increase on other commodities such as fish, meat, vegetables and the like. We are also experiencing Global Warming because of the carbon dioxide released in the by some factories and cars. So in order to prevent those we need to find some other alternatives for fuel so that we could lessen the emmision of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. When you say another alternative for gas, the first thing that would come up to your mind is BioDiesel. So what is Biodiesel? Biodiesel is a non-petroleum based fuel mainly made from animal fats or vegetable oils. Why use Biodiesel? First, when you use Biodiesel, you will surely won’t throw anything. Like for example, I said earlier that biodiesel is made from animal fats or vegetable oils, If you will cook or fry meat or any fatty foods you can use the fatty oils left to turn it as a Bio diesel.
Another example is using Ethanol. Ethanol is abbreviated as EtOH. It is a product of fermented suger and starch crops like corns. It is a clear liquid with a sweet taste (because it came from a fermented sugar). Ethanol had already existed during the past since the Neolithic Age. There are also some ethanol came from grass and trees which is called bio-ethanol. Why use ethanol? It is renewable and it contains high amount of oxygen that provides a cleaner and more efficient burning alternative fuel. You can also use electric cars. Electric cars are cars which is run by electricity. It means it is a rechargeable car! Electric cars are already accepted by the people in the world nowadays. Like here in the Philippines, some of the Jeepney drivers in Makati are already using electric Jeepney. The Electric Jeepney is the first public transport system of its kind in Southeast Asia. drivers said that its cheaper than buying fuel. Why use electric cars? Using of electricity in cars would do a lot. It can save money and also save mother Earth
Think about this, why not choose what is the best for you amd your car? If you use fuel you will emit carbon monoxide in the atmosphere and it also costs much money. But if you use alternatives such as Ethanol, Biodiesel and Electricity you can save money and save Earth.
