Yes its already finished! The GMA7’s franchise of American Idol, the Pinoy Idol. The finals was on August 16&17, 2008. The finals is very star studded. From Callalily, Rivermaya, Basil Valdez and many more. The other ex-finalists is also there, Penelope, Warren Antig, Kid Camaya, Toffer Rei, Daryl Celis, Sue Ellen and many more. Ram Chavez, Jayann Bautista and Gretchen Espina did a very great job for the three song they performed. First eliminated is Ram Chavez. The last two finalist sung “To You” which is written by Ogie Alcasid and to be the Pinoy Idols song. The declaration of the winners is a breath-taking one. And the winner is Gretchen Espina

hindi ko rin nagustuhan ang naging resulta. pero kung iisipin ninyo ang mga sinabi ng mga judges, ang sabi kay Jayann ay “not just a singer but also a performer”, ang sabi naman kay Gretchen “you sang like a champion” pareho naman silang deserving maging winner sa pinoy idol sina Jayann at Gretchen in terms of the judges comments, pero in terms of money, dapat si Jayann ang naging winner kasi mayaman na si Gretchen
