Spending the day just staying in the house, without doing anything. I’m sure you’ll be bored. Instead of lying there, go out. Have fun! Don’t waste that beautiful day. Like what we did last August 29. We went to a place where all of us enjoyed. Of course its Enchanted Kingdom! Its in Sta. Rosa, Lagu
na. EK is just 5 hours drive from here in Caloocan. I enjoyed that 5 hours because I am with my friends. And 5 hours is enough for a rest because of the adventure you’ll experience. We arrived there at exactly 12 noon, which is kinda hot. Its my first time there so I am very excited. In the entrance, I noticed the elegance of the design which I think they adapted from the era of Queen Victoria. The park has many divisions. As you enter, you are welcomed by the Victoria Park. Its is inspired by the Queen Victoria’s reign. This is also the place where you will meet and greet the park’s mascot, Eldar the wizard. You’ll also see the first ride, The Grand Carousel. Next is the Portabello. It is the replica of a place in Panama in the Caribbean Sea. Here, you can see the giant high fly ride, the Flying Fiesta. If your out for a wet and wild action, why not try the Rio Grande Rapids. For all of the ride this could be the one of my most memorable because almost all of us in the section ride it and even our adviser and teachers ride it. There is a sign there that says “Expect to get wet in this ride”, which is actually true. My cellphone get wet while in the ride. If you want some action there is a Paintball somewhere. And the last ride in Portabello is the 4D. Its a 3d theater which you will surely enjoy. We watch Pirates. It was very funny and when you are inside you will feel that you are actually in the film. 
When you walk around you will see the park’s another zone, Brooklyn Place. Take a sentimental walk down the streets of Brooklyn, one of the New York’s borough. There you will see the Rialto, Brooklyn’s motion simulator theater which combines sight, sound and movement. Here, one does not merely watch a movie - one is actually in the movie! Next zone is the Spaceport. Experience having a high
fly that will take your hearts outside the Earth with the Space Shuttle. If you like doing car racing free to go to Kart Trak where your inner F1 car racer begins. This is my most favorite place in EK. The Jungle Outpost. If you want to spend a more relaxing ride, try the Swan Lake. Like any other swan lakes (of course you are riding on a swan) you need to paddle it like using a bicycle. What makes it so romantic is that you and your loved ones are the ones only there. After a romantic ride try out Jungle Log Jump. If your 4 in the group, that’s fine. Because only 4 person could ride one log. What I like in this ride, is the feeling of falling down from a high place. And I think that could be the best thing that I ever feel. We also spotted some ethnics (their not actually ethnics but I think only few) are performing some exhibitions like eating of fire, dancing cultural dance and breathing of fire. 
For more of the park’s rides, got to Midway Boardwalk. You wil see there the Anchors Away, Dodgem, Roller Skaters, Up, Up and Away, Bump N’ Splash, Wheel of Fate. I think allo of us know what is anchors away right? So no need to explain. Dodgem, is a form of a bumpcar ride, which we all like. Roller Skaters is a roller coaster ride which is definetly a all time favorite for all of us. Bump N’ Splash is also a bump car, but in water. And the wheel of fate, from the name itself wheel is a Ferris wheel. Want to go back on the period where dinosaurs rule the Earth? the go to the last zone of EK. The Boulderville. Most of the rides have a touch of dinosaurs which you would feel that hey are already alive (run!!!!).

Yes its already finished! The GMA7’s franchise of American Idol, the Pinoy Idol. The finals was on August 16&17, 2008. The finals is very star studded. From Callalily, Rivermaya, Basil Valdez and many more. The other ex-finalists is also there, Penelope, Warren Antig, Kid Camaya, Toffer Rei, Daryl Celis, Sue Ellen and many more. Ram Chavez, Jayann Bautista and Gretchen Espina did a very great job for the three song they performed. First eliminated is Ram Chavez. The last two finalist sung “To You” which is written by Ogie Alcasid and to be the Pinoy Idols song. The declaration of the winners is a breath-taking one. And the winner is Gretchen Espina
Its been almost 2 weeks, i think, since I posted another article. And like what I have written, I do have an exam. And finally its finished! I have many things to tell about. The days before exam, we have many review games. And through that, we gain plus points in quizzes, recitations, and even in exam. Our examination days is divided by 3 days. Day one: Math, MAPEH, and Computer. The day one is my most memorable day among the three. Because that is the day that I am very, very hopeless. Because of that mathematics! Those Linear equations, graphing, substitution, elimination and many more. I am very confused on each of my answers. I even have a tutorial for that. My classmates teached me with those things. But I find those two other exams easy. Second day: Science, Filipino, TLE, and Values. For Science, I only have an hard time for labeling the parts of the plant cell. In Filipino I think its kinda easy. Like what mom Clamor said “Its easy if you reviewed well.” In TLE, I was so shocked because almost entire of test paper has Multiple Choice which made it so confusing. Values is the hardest yet fun for that day because each directions is different. There is a direction that tells you to put your answers in capitalized form and there is another which you should write your answers in Italic form. And for the final day, English, ASAO, and Social Studies. I thought English has an easy exam but its not. Instead its a very difficult exam, because it has hard identification. ASAO test is the exam trying to test on how well do we know the school rules and regulations, values of the months, the members of the faculty and the board of trustees, events and the winner in those activities. From the last years ASAO tests, its little bit easy. And last is the Social Studies which is about the Asian history. That is one of my favorite exam because its easy. And I reviewed it thats why. And for the entire examination days I could say that its a fun day for me. Good to be back!
Time passes so fast, that I didn’t notice that our examination is coming. Anyway, I am here to say goodbye for 2 weeks. Because I need to study hard in order to get high grades. Our examination will be on August 14,15, 16. So pray for me (no I am just kidding). But I promise to you that when I come back I have lot of stories to tell. Like, what happened on my exam, my grades, and many, many, many more. So see yah all!
Did you ever realize what is the story behind those meat that you eat? Did you ask yourself on how the animals being put on death for your food?
I watched a documentary last Saturday in GMA7. In Jessica Soho. Its about animal cruelty. Some of the animals there are cows, horses, pigs and goats. In the documentary, it shows on how humans kill animals for the sake of food. And it also said something on how humane the way of killing animals goes. There featured some “matansero” (people who kill goats). First, they forcedly let the goat drink vinegar. Then they will start killing it. And in some provinces in the Cordillera, they have a cuisine called “pinikpikan”. They first hold the chicken by the feet and wings in one hand. Hit the back of the head with the stick, just below the comb. Isn’t that cruel. The chicken dies slowly, and it feels pain and its terrible to look at. And then another story there is a man who would sell his horse because of their needs. The way of people used to kill the horse is they hit it with something that looks like an axe so that it would easily sleep. Whenever they kill those poor animals I hear cries, sobs, and their pain. I can’t stand looking at it.
Try to think of this, what if we are the food of the animals? And they will also do the same on us. What you would feel? Of course you would say that they are so selfish and cruel! What if they also saying it to us whenever we kill them. There’s still a way on how we could stop it. Like being a vegan. It would benefit you, the animals and also the Earth. That is what PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is trying to fight for, to stop animal cruelty.
Everyday is a busy day for me. Studies and more more studies. During weekdays, I usually stay on my room to read and watch television because I am not a outgoing person. I usually go out with my friends and with my family. When I woke up, the first thing I do is to eat my breakfast. Then after that, i take a bath, dress up for school and then ride in the car of my father. I arrive at school around 6:40 or 7:05. Then we will form our lines in our quadrangle for the flag ceremony. One thing I hate when when flag ceremony is that i sweat because its so hot in there. Then we will go up to have our homeroom and the other subjects. And at 3:00 pm we will go home already. But when its Monday, I am one of the cleaners. Then I go home. When I am at home already, I stay at my room, and wait until night came. But when weekends, I usually do my routine except on going to school. I watch and play computer when I am at home during weekends. Then when Sunday, we go to church.
I heard this new show in GMA7. Its name is Codename: Asero. I think they got the name from a metal. The main characters are Richard Guttierez as Grecko Abisamis/Agent Phoenix Heart Evangelista as Emily San Juan. The story starts at the Advocate where Greggo is
working. The Advocate has a mission for him and his partner Geron (Janno Gibbs), to get the project HERCULES which led them to Dubai. Fortunately, thats the place where Emily is working. She works in a shop where she is being accused to be a thief. And in order to prove that she is innocent, she needs to get the cd which contains the video of the surveillance camera. And to do that she needs to go to a party where the cd is. And that is also the place where Greggo’s mission is located. And after getting what they want, they would separate ways without knowing that they have switched the cd. The project Hercules is in Emily’s hands while the video is with Greggo. And there their love story starts. I think its the first Scifi show of GMA7. Its good that they introduce a new kind of show for their viewers. I think I loved all of their Telebabad show because they know what the people wants. And starting a new show like that could be a great hit to the mass.

For the special effects is 7 (10 is the highest). Because its not what I expected in a scifi show like what American shows and movies does. And I feel its not kinda realistic. For the story, 9. Even though its their first time to create a show like that they got what I want, more adventurous and more thrilling. for their characters and actors, 10. Because they choose the right persons that suits each role. Richard is best in every role that he plays. Janno Gibbs made the story slight fuuny. Heart makes me sit in front of my tv.
If I had to live alone in an island and to bring only two things. One is a television set with a dvd player and collections of many animes. Since I am grade 3, I have fun watching many animes an cartoons. And I think the first anime I watched is the Voltez 5. Second is Dragon Ball Z. I could say that it is a great anime with many extraterrestrial creatures and slammin powers. My favorite characters are Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Cell, Majimboo because they are good in fighting. Some of my favorite anime originated from Japan. Death Note which I already done a blog for it, is another of my favorites. I wonder how those person behind all of my favorite characters and anime do that kind of creative ideas and designs. If I could be a anime character, I would be either the five. Ichigo and Uryuu of Bleach, Yagami Light and L of Death Note, and Naruto. Ichigo and Uryuu because, they have nice weapons and cool costumes. Like the costume of Ichigo when he call his Bankai, he dress in black and with tissue wrapped around his body inside. The costume of Uryuu which is a white and blue, that made it more attractive. And besides I also want to have a collection of swords which Ichigo and the other shinigami has. Light Yagami and L because they are very intelligent, not only that they are also cute. If I could be Light, I will also do what he done, to have a world with only kind people. And with their intelligence I know I could answer many difficult questions. And last Naruto, because he is a brave warrior. With his ninja skills he can fight those bad guys. And he also keep on trying to see his friend Sasuke.I could say that anime is already part of my life. But I am not addicted to it so much. I still concentrate on my studies.
Last week, I borrowed a copy of Death Note. Thanks to my classmate, Ian. I owe you for this blog post. And this Saturday I watched it in our house. But theres a problem, the remote is broken! But I already fixed it. I was so curious of what and why does its name is “Death Note”. For some reason I thought that it is kind of scary. But its not what I been expecting. Its just a simple notebook with a power to kill somebody. I like the main character which is Light. The story starts on a guy named Light. He is an intelligent and handsome and normal high school student. But when Light found the notebook of the shinigami Ryuk his life began to change . At first, Light didn’t believe in the power of the Death Note but when he tried it on the man who hostage a school and after 40 seconds the man died. Then after 5 days the shinigami Ryuk met Light to confront him and assist as he used the Death Note. The police was alarmed by the death of many criminals by the same way of death, cardiac arrest or heart attack. The ace of the police L tried to solve the case. Light will be known as kira. While Light uses his father, who led the Kira case, to monitor and find those filthy criminals and try to finish them. And the pursuit of L to find the mysterious Kira will start. For my review, I think its pretty cool. The way of death of the people. Its very interesting. And the story with the friendship of an extraordinary to a human, that’s new for me. And their identity remains a secret so that they would not be identified by Light. But I still not yet finished watching it. I’m getting hooked up by the story.

One thing you don’t know about me is that I care, I love Earth. I try to make my life green. I do ways to help Earth. Like, preventing dumping of waste anywhere, switching of light if not in used and not needed, unplugging the appliances when not in used. So I decided to find an interesting site that could feed my needs. By researching on Google, I found this site. The Tree Hugger. From its name the first thing that will come to your mind is a tree and the nature. Their site is interesting. The site mainly focus the concerns about Earth. There are 3 things to do in treehugger, 1. Get Informed 2. Interact 3. Take Action. There are collection to help Earth. From blogs to Tree Hugger book, From forums to Pop Quizzes and to Job Board. And not only that, there are interviews, surveys. In the section Get Informed, are blogs making you informed. I like the blogs all about Cars + Transportation, Science + Technology, and newsletters. The interact section is where you can interact, or communicate with other treehuggers. Like other sites it has forums. But it has a Pop Quizzes. My favorite section there is the Take Action section. In there, you can see How to Go Green Guides. Inside this, are collections of ways on how to be green. And another cool thing in their site is having those advertisements which are related to what the Tree Hugger focus on. If you want you can visit this site and I assure you that you will do the right thing.
